Obituary for Bobby Donald Brockman

BROCKMAN,
Bobby Donald, 79, of Louisville, passed away Monday, July 14 at his residence.
Born in Campbellsville, he was a retired forge shop supervisor for Henry Vogt where he worked for over 40 years and a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge #774.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Ettie and Walter Brockman; wife of 45 years of marriage, Anna Lindsey Brockman; brothers, David, Joseph and Vernie Brockman; and sister, Pearl McRoberts.
Bobby is survived by his wife, the former Rachel Weatherby; son, Joe Brockman (Gail); daughters, Lesa Locke and Lana Ashby (Jerry); step-children, Ned Weathebry (Sherri), Rob Powers (Pamela), Kim Strange (Doc), Britt Weatherby (Sue) and Lance Weatherby (Abby); mother-in-law, Emma Boutcher; his little companion, Sam; sixteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
His funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 18 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Highlands.
