HARE, Bonnie Jean Landers, 82, of Louisville, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center.
Born in Louisville, KY the former Bonnie Jean Harbin was a retired Vice President of Landers Plumbing Heating and A/C Co. and she was also a lifetime member of the Middletown V.F.W. Post 1170 Ladies Auxiliary, and Middletown United Methodist Church since 1950.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Norman Gene Landers.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Irving O’Neal Hare; daughters, Deborah G. Hamilton (John) and Tracy Landers Cook; step-daughters, Kim Frederick (Fred) and Trish Dawson; sister, Linda Harbin Grubbs; grandchildren; Tamara W. Sharp (Shane), Samuel Landers Cook, Cynthia H. Clinard (Tom), five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Her funeral service will be at 11:00 am Thursday, July 10 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-8 pm on Wednesday at Highlands.
