Carol Ernestine Miller, 69, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014.
She was a retired secretary from Kosair Charities and attended Southeast Christian Church.
Carol was preceded in death by her sister, Dolores Piercy.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Edward Douglas; son, Bryon Douglas; daughter, Tracy Douglas Yurt (Gary); brothers, Gary Miller, and Dennis Miller (Stella); sisters, Linda Hawkins (Paul), Rita McFarland (Jim), Jane Moore and Ann Sykes; grandchildren, Gary “Kevin” Yurt, Jr., Justin Edward Yurt and Meredith Jane Yurt and mother-in-law, Mary Lee Douglas.
Her funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Highlands Family – Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with burial in Valley of Rest Cemetery, LaGrange, KY.
Visitation will be from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 -8:00 p.m. Friday and 11:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at Highlands.
