COLLINS, Christine Smith, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2011, at her residence. She was born March 7, 1929, the daughter of Homer and Luce Duerson Smith, both deceased. She was a member of Calvin Presbyterian Church and Fillies Club. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, William Henderson “Bill” Collins. Chris is survived by her sons, James Gary Collins and his wife, Sook Kim and William Kevin Collins, and his wife Sandy; sisters, Martha Murphy (Burland) and Lucile Tuell; six grandchildren, Shawn Collins, Samantha Johnson and her husband, Jeff, Whitney Collins, Kendahl DeZarn and her husband Peter, Shane Collins and Taylor Collins; as well as four great-grandchildren, Chase Collins, Albert and Collin Johnson, and Bishop DeZarn. Visitation will be held 1-8 p.m., Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd., with funeral service 11 a.m., Wednesday at the funeral home, followed by burial in Cave Hill Cemetery.
