WHITNEY, DAVID ALLEN, 24, of La Grange, KY, returned to his Heavenly Father on Monday, July 4, 2011.
He was a member of Crestwood Baptist Church, the twinspires.com cycling team and a student at U of L.
He is survived by his mother, Gina Helms (Todd); father, Richard Whitney (Tammy Scott); girlfriend, Tiffany Collins; half brother, Nicholas Whitney; stepmother, Carrie Whitney; grandparents, Betty and Jim Amburgey, Karen and Dennis Helms, Barbara Stander, and Earl Whitney; aunts, Leigh Ann Greene (Scott), Shelly Fowler (Steve), Stephanie Hagan, Dianne Whitney, and Kim Sushil (Tim); and a host of cousins.
His funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2011 at Crestwood Baptist Church, 6400 Sweet Bay Dr., Crestwood, with burial to follow in Duncan Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
