WILSON, DELBERT ARTHUR, 101, of Louisville, passed away Monday, April 25, 2011 at Norton Hospice Inpatient.
Born in Horse Branch, KY, he was a retired bus driver for TARC and worked at the former H&S Hardware Store, and was a World War II Army veteran.
Delbert was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Amy Wilson.
He is survived by his wife, the former Evelyn O'Bryan; son, Delbert "Dale" Wilson Jr. (Kim); stepsons, John Norris (Earlene) and Steve Norris (Camille); sisters, Sue Flohner and Opal Willoughby; and three grandchildren, Cheyanne, Cameron, and Patrick. His funeral service will be at noon Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Audubon Baptist Church, 1046 Hess Lane, with burial to follow in McGrady Creek Cemetery, Olaton, KY. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
