Doris Jean “Jeanie” (Richerson), 82, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014.

She was a retired dealer for Stanley Home products for over 40 years and an employee of Gibson Card Co. She was the KY State past president of the National Association of Letter Carriers Auxiliary and a member of T.O.P.S., Divine Savior Lutheran Church and a member of the sewing circle at the church.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Sherrill “Gene” Howell.
She is survived by her son, James Christian “Chris” Howell (Norma); daughters, Carol Small (Rick) and Duanna Gallagher (Bill); nine grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 13, 2014 at Divine Savior Lutheran, 1025 N. Buckman St., Shepherdsville, KY. with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Highlands Family- Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
