HALL, DOROTHY, was born in Jefferson County, KY, on February 28, 1937 and passed away on February 25, 2010.
She was the former Dorothy Hultz.
Dorothy actively pursued many interests in her lifetime, especially the gift of music. Although she received many awards and recognitions, she derived most pleasure just from being involved, with a goal of making a difference.
During her vocational years she was a legal secretary and a church office administrator for Zion United Church of Christ. Dorothy was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. She highly regarded her role as mother and grandmother to be one of God's greatest blessings, along with true friendships.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, George Lewis Hall Jr.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Melinda VanArsdale (David) and Amanda Edsell (Chuck); sister, Joyce Frantz; brother, Billy Hultz (Martha); and grandchildren, Christal and Nicholaus VanArsdale and Jewell Edsell.
Her funeral service will be at 6 p.m. Sunday, February 28, 2010 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Highlands.
