Byrd, Edwin, 85, of Louisville, died Friday, February 4, 2011.
He was retired from Phillip Morris and a member of Baptist Tabernacle.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Lela Marie Byrd; his son, Ronald Byrd; his brother, Odell Byrd; and his sister, Margie Koch. He is survived by his daughter, Regina Randall (Denton); two grandsons, Christopher Byrd (Michelle) and Andrew Byrd (Tina); five great-grandchildren, Alexandra, Samantha, Tori, Trenton and Tony; and brothers, Larry Byrd (Lily) and Gene Byrd.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, February 10, 2011, at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd., with burial to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 9, from 2-4 and 6-8.
