KILLEBREW, Elbert “Dean”, 86, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Wesley Manor.
He is a member of Southeast Christian Church, Masonic Lodge #850 and was a retired Teamsters truck driver from Smiths Transfer. Dean was also a WWII Navy veteran.
He is survived by his loving wife, Hazel (Clark) Killebrew; children, Michael Killebrew, Mark Killebrew and Michele Sawers (Alan); brother, Gene Killebrew (Joyce); and his 2 grandchildren, Tracy and Jackson; and his 2 great-grandchildren, Paige and Devon.
Dean’s funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 9 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road with burial following in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4p.m. & 6-8p.m. at Highlands on Saturday April 7, 2012.
