NEWTON, ELLEN (MELTON), 77, of Louisville, passed away Monday, August 6, 2012 at her residence.
Born in Dixon, KY, she was retired from Baptist Healthcare System, and was a member of Beechmont Baptist Church, American Business Women's Association and the Beechmont Women's Club.
She is survived by her husband, Boyd B. Newton; son, Oleg Newton; and foster grandson, Joey Dutkiewicz.
Her funeral service will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with visitation from 2 p.m. until time of service Wednesday. She will also have visitation from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. CST Thursday at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Sebree, KY with burial to follow in Shady Grove Cemetery, Poole, KY.
