GREGORY, ERNEST ALFRED "BUSTER" JR., 78, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2011 at his residence.
Born in Henderson, KY, he was a U.S. Navy veteran having served aboard the USS George Clymer from 1951-1955 and in the Navy Reserves from 1955-1959. Buster was a graduate of the University of Evansville and a member of Southeast Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, the former Emily Cooper; daughters, Audrey Carter (Keith) and Linda Schweizer; son, Mark A. Gregory (Janet); sister, Bettye G. Hunter; brother, Fred A. Gregory (Carolyn); daughter-in-law, Teresa Vance Gregory; grandchildren, Matt, Michelle, Brittany, Marcus, Drew, Kristen, and Taylor; and great-granddaughter, Melaina.
His funeral service will at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, Henderson, KY, with burial in Fairmont Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon -2 p.m. at the Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
