Mrs. Green was such a special person. She was my high school counselor, and her counseling advice was important. But her impact on me was so much more than that. I worked in the counselors' office at Westport High School as a student volunteer for three years. During that time, Mrs. Green's support and encouragement helped build my self confidence and self respect tremendously. I think she often was more excited about my achievements than I was! I would not be the person I am today if not for the positive influence of Mrs. Green.
