WILHOYTE, FRANCES ROGERS, 86, of Louisville, passed away Friday, December 2, 2011 at Baptist Hospital East.
She was a lifelong member of Edenside Christian Church where she was bookkeeper, secretary and office manager for many years. She was very active and dedicated in her church work, nursery, CWF, choir and as a youth group leader.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James "Hewett" Wilhoyte; parents, George W., Sr. and Brooks Rogers; brother, George W. Rogers, Jr.; sisters, JoAnna Myers and Mary Lou Daugherty.
Frances is survived by her daughter, Lucy Overstreet (Mike); grandchildren, James M. Overstreet (Rachel) and Ashley Snawder (Michael); five great-grandchildren; sister, Gwendolyn Ray; and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and members of her church.
Her service will be 11 a.m. Monday, December 5, 2011 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be noon-7 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. until service time on Monday.
