FORD, GERALD LOUIS, 79, of Louisville, went to be with his Lord on Friday, February 17, 2012.
He was a loving father, grandfather, proud US Air Force veteran, a gentleman always and a friend to all. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Ellen; and is survived by his daughters, Cathy (Dan) Kannapel and Lauren (Conrad) Sharps; his grandchildren, Craig (fiancé Kelley) and Drew Kannapel, Daron and Madison Sharps.
Visitation will be at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. from 2-8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2012. His funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Middletown United Methodist Church, 11902 Old Shelbyville Road with burial following at Cave Hill Cemetery.
