HORNUNG, Geraldine, 75, of Louisville, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2014 at Norton Hospital.
Born in Cincinnati, the former Geri Rust was a homemaker, and a member of Victory Memorial Baptist Church. She held an Associate’s Degree from JCC and was a past member of Eastern Star who enjoyed music and dancing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Dorothy Rust; and infant twins.
Geri is survived by her husband of 49 years, Edwin Hornung; son, Edwin Hornung, Jr.; sister, Patricia Wortham; and niece, Laura Wortham.
Her funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 14 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road with cremation to follow. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Tuesday at Highlands.
