FARR, GERTRUDE T. "GERT," 91, of Louisville, passed away Friday, June 18, 2010 at her residence.
Born in Chicago, IL, she was a homemaker and a member of Ascension Catholic church where she was also a member of the 50 Something Club. Gert enjoyed playing bunco, bingo, pinochle, and canasta.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Kenneth and Richard Farr.
She is survived by her husband of sixty nine years, Charles Farr; son, Thomas Farr (Denise); daughters, Barbara Bullock and Nancy Thompson; sister, Cecilia Bennett; daughter-in-law, Susan Farr; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Her funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Church of the Ascension, 4600 Lynnbrook Dr, with burial to follow in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Monday, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
