GOODMAN, Gina Beth, 48, passed away Monday, April 25, 2011, at Baptist Hospital East, surrounded by her loving family. Ms. Goodman is a graduate of Georgetown College of Kentucky; holds a Master of Education degree from the University of Louisville, was a member of the Jefferson County Public School Administration Association, Delta Omicron Sorority, and a lifetime member of Walnut Street Baptist Church, Louisville, KY. At the time of her death, she was an elementary school counselor at Foster Traditional Academy in the JCPS system. Survivors include her mother, Mildred “Millie” Goodman; brothers David (Rebecca) of Louisville, Eric (Debbie) of Sellersburg, IN; two nieces, Mackenzie and Morgan Goodman, also of Sellersburg, IN. Others whom mourn her passing are her aunts, an uncle, and a host of cousins and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 3, 3-5 p.m., in the Chapel of Walnut Street Baptist Church, 3rd and St. Catherine, Louisville, KY 40203. Memorial service will follow in the church sanctuary at 7 p.m. Memorials may be given to the music ministry of Walnut Street Baptist Church.
