WHITTINGHILL, GRANT CARITHERS, 27, died August 1, 2010 at his home.
Grant was a bright and sensitive individual whose interests included movies, music, science, art and fishing.
He was a loving son and devoted to a wide circle of friends throughout his Highlands neighborhood, who will miss him greatly.
He was preceded in death by his father, Russell, in 2009.
He is survived by his mother, the Hon. Virginia Whittinghill; aunts and uncles, Gail Hendrickson, Dan Featherston, Ellen Vote, Charles Barr, Ed and Cyndy Carithers, Nancy and George Lauderdale and Lynn Hendrickson; as well as numerous cousins.
Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Friday at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd., with funeral to follow at 5 p.m. Friday. The family has chosen cremation.
