MORLEY,
Helen K., 90, of Louisville, passed away Monday, August 4, 2014.
She was a retired switchboard operator at the Pendennis Club and Galt House; the last of nine siblings in the Morley family. Helen relished her Irish heritage and never lost her quick-wit. She never met a stranger, always upbeat and a real “cut-up”. She was loved and will be missed by many.
Helen is survived by her daughters, Karen Smith, Alexandria, VA, Theresa Sorenson (Pete), Placerville, CA and Colleen Smith-Marr (Tom), Louisville; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Her funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 7, 2014 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1920 Newburg Rd. with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
