KREBS, Henry “Hank” Louis, 86, of Louisville, entered into Eternal Life on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Nazareth Home.
Born in Louisville, Henry was a U.S. Navy veteran, a graduate of the University of Kentucky, a Mechanical Engineer, P.E. and owner of Krebs Engineering Co. He was a former chairman of Conveyors Equipment and Manufacturing Association and a member of KY Society of Professional Engineers, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, American Legion Highland Post, and St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Beatrice Hofelich.
Henry is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Martha Krebs; children, Paul Krebs (Barbara), Karen Shore (Bill), Teresa Gill and Alice Quinker; brothers, Clarence Krebs, Jr. (Ruth) and Fr. Peter J. Krebs; sister, Martha Ann Akridge (James); grandchildren, Jesse Krebs (Kate), Denise Furr (Justin), Andy Krebs, Matthew Shore (Marla), Jonathan Shore (Emily), Andrew Shore (Maria), James Gill, Tony Gill, Sara Carter (Chris) and Mary Beth Quinker; and 6 great-grandchildren.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 1st at St. Raphael Church, Bardstown Road at Lancashire Avenue, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm on Monday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
