SCOTT, Irene, of Louisville, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2014 in her 95th year.
Born in Magnolia, KY, the former Irene Skaggs was a homemaker, and a member of Westport Road Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, James Floyd Scott; brother, Arvin Skaggs; and sister, Mattie Whitlow.
Irene is survived by her daughter, Jo-Ann Farmer (Robert); sister, Ruby Jean Crump; 2 grandchildren, Scott Farmer (Meghan) and Brian Farmer; and 1 great-grandson, Brekken James Farmer.
Her funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 28 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm on Tuesday at Highlands.
