Obituary for James Alexander Sr.
James Goff Alexander Sr. ALEXANDER, JAMES GOFF SR., 81, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2010.
He was a retired contract officer for the Louisville Naval Ordnance Station, a member of St. Paul United Methodist church and scout master of troop 40 for 16 years based at that church. He graduated from U of L, was a student at Presbyterian Seminary in Louisville and an Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Margaret, son James Jr. (Megan), grandchildren Cole (Laree) and Elisabeth; siblings Joe (MaryJane), William, and Marion Jones (Robert).
Visitation is at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd., from 3-7 p.m. on Friday with services Saturday at 11 a.m.
Memorial gifts can be made to the Kentucky Humane Society.
