PIERCE, James Gordon, 69, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at his home.
Born in Louisville on October 15, 1946, Jim was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and was on the U.S.S. Vermillion. He worked at Frito Lay for 35+ years, most recently as Product Supply Manger, was past Treasurer of Glenmary Patio Homes HOA, and a longtime St. Matthews resident.
He was preceded in death by parents, Gordon and Margaret Ruth Pierce; and twin sister, Margaret “Janet” McLin.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, JoAnn Johnson Pierce.
His visitation will be from 2-7 pm Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. Burial will be at 10 am Wednesday at Cave Hill Cemetery (Grinstead gate).
