JB Price born 2/17/1923 went to our heavenly father on July 10th, 2014. The world has lost a true World War II hero this week. JB was in the 101st airborne screaming eagles at the Battle of the Bulge as a paratrooper. He was the recipient of: Bronze Star, Two Purple Hearts, Good Conduct Medal, European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with 3 Bronze Stars and One Bronze Arrowhead, American Theater Medal, Victory Metal World War II and Distinguished Unit Citation. Our dad had a very loving and giving spirit who lived a tremendous Christian life always giving to others in Christ. JB attended Crestwood Christian Church and was the president of Price 5 Inc. JB retired from Delmonico Foods a division of Hershey Foods where he was the Plant Engineer for over 30 years.
JB leaves behind a devoted wife of 65 beautiful years, Freddie Price, his son Mark Price, Daughters, Holly Martin Price (Wayne), and Lisa Westerman Price (Donald).
Service will be held at the Crestwood Christian Church, 6525 W Highway 22, Crestwood Kentucky, 502-241-4618. Visitation will be Sunday, July 13th from Noon to 1 PM, with the service immediately following. Burial will be at Duncan Memorial Cemetery.
