HUBER, Jessie “Lee”, Jr., 82, of Louisville, died Monday, June 13, 2011, at Baptist Hospital East. Born in Lyons, Kentucky, he was a retired electrician with Ready Electric. Lee was a U.S. Army veteran, having been an instructor at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland, a 61-year member of the IBEW Local 369, and a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Doris Huber; his children, Helen Huber, Neal T. Huber (Kathy), Anita Hammond, and Constance Ewing; sisters, Carlette Saage, Dorothy Justice, Nina Samuels, and Joyce Gerlach; grandchildren, Matthew Thomas Huber, Tyler Lee Huber, and Alicia Ann Hammond; and great-grandchildren, Alicia and Michael Huber. His funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 17, 2011, at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 3042 Hikes Ln., with burial in Resthaven. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. Expressions of Sympathy may be made to St. Vincent dePaul Society.
