MAHONEY, Joanne Henry, 82, of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Oaklawn Health and Rehab.
Born in Louisville, the former Joanne Bader was a school teacher of 35 years at Lane Elementary in the Jefferson County Public School System, and a member of Chapel Hill United Church of Christ. She had 60 years of service at Pleasure Ridge Homemakers.
Joanne is survived by her husband, William B. Mahoney; daughter, Joanie White (Richard); stepdaughter, Patricia Wrocklage; and granddaughter, Amanda Katherine White.
Her funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, May 19th at Chapel Hill UCC, 2307 Embassy Lane, with cremation to follow. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Saturday, and 1-5 pm on Sunday at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
