NOLD, John A. “Jack”, 74, of Tampa, FL and formerly of Naples, FL and Louisville died Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Baptist Health Louisville.
Born in Louisville, Kentucky, he was a graduate of St. X High School class of 1957, Bellarmine University and U of L Brandeis School of Law. He was a well known and respected attorney for nearly 50 years with offices in Louisville, Marco Island and Naples, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edward G. Nold, Sr. and Helen (Crush) Nold; brother, Edward G. Nold, Jr.; and sister, Dorothy O’Bryan.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Janis S. Nold; son, Briton S. Nold (Laura) of Tampa; step-children, Jerry Rhodes of Corydon, IN and Susan Rhodes of Tampa; brothers, Robert L. Nold, MD (Arline) and William J. Nold Esq. (Kathy); two grandchildren, Grace and Cloe Allen; and many loving nieces and nephews.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Monday, January 13 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1960 Bardstown Rd. with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2 – 8 pm at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
