Vince was a good man with a good heart. He was professional and caring. He Was always willing to help others and would get you the answers needed when it came to HR issues. You had to go through him first before entering the department. He always enjoyed our Post Office get togethers and enjoyed people. He will be greatly missed by the postal family.

I first met Vince at St. X. He was always outspoken and I know he had a lot of admirers. And, our friendship grew at Bellarmine College (University). Our conversations after graduation still centered later about Bellarmine. Vince had known a lot of administrators and faculty and kept in contact with one priest in particular--the late Fr. Zoeller. Vince and I shared a lot of the same observations about Bellarmine's Priest-professors--that they were sickly and unhappy and never smiled much in the classroom. That Bellarmine's Fr. Clyde Crews was like the minister of propaganda for the Louisville Archbishop. That Fr. Crews did a cover-up job on the priest-professors at Bellarmine when he wrote his Bellarmine University histories. Vince always complained that he couldn't find a nice girl and chided me why I was still single. The last time I talked to Vince two-years ago (?) (around Christmas) where we always exchanged greetings. I would call one year then Vince would call the next year. Well, Vince didn't call anymore the last time I had called. And I had wanted to call this year. I figured however that Vince was not feeling well since he was always complaining about his health and from his last operation...Will miss you, Vince...RIP....

Vincent was a dear, special man. We talked occasionally but lost touch a few years ago. I'm so sad to hear of his passing. I will never forget him. God Bless you Vince......

Vince was a dear friend. I met him years ago when he first began "running" our HR Dept. Everyone was always amazed about what a multi-tasker and fountain of information he was. Since retirement, I have worked with him as his "Realtor friend" as he always introduced me. We had talked on the phone on 1/14 about our shared political views. He told me he had a persistent cough but sounded fine otherwise. My husband and I thought so much of Vince. I will never return to the Highlands without remembering all of our time spent together and missing him terribly. I know you are singing with the angels now, dear Vince!
