KIESLER, Joseph Anthony, 81, of Louisville, died peacefully on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at his home.
Born in Louisville, he served in the KY National Guard for 20 years and was retired from French, Kiesler, and O’Donnell Insurance Company. Joe was a 1948 graduate of St. Xavier High School, was CWO4 in the KY Army National Guard and a member of the Bonnycastle Club, Louisville Orchid Society, and St. Barnabas Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ann Nordling Kiesler; his children, JoAnn Shacklette (Charles), Ted Kiesler (Richard), and Sandy Lowry (Christopher); and 6 grandchildren, Lauren, Amanda, Stephanie, Zack, Jacob and Andrea.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 15 at his church, 3042 Hikes Lane, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m., Monday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
