RIDGE, Joseph H., 93, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Christopher East. A native of Louisville, he was a Navy veteran and a member of the V.F.W. Post 1693, American Legion Post # 28 and Portland Presbyterian Church. He was a retired machinist for Penn Central and Conrail where he had worked for 32 years. Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Golda Brown Ridge; sisters, Thelma Mayville and Lillian Sieboldt; brothers,Lochel Ridge, Jr. and George (Vernie) Ridge. He is survived by his daughter, Thelma Puthuff; granddaughters, Dr. Denise Puthuff and Dianna Mazzoni; great-granddaughter, Katherine Puthuff. His service will be at 10 am on Saturday, May 14th at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5 – 8 on Friday.
