STOUT, JULIA SALAS, 81, of Louisville passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital with her loving family by her side.
Julia was a loving sister, mother, and grandmother. She is the youngest of eight children. She was a devout follower of Jesus Christ, and she shared His love with all those she met.
Julia kept close relationships with her children and grandchildren. She comforted those in need. Her presence will be missed and mourned by all those who loved her.
Julia is preceded in death by her husband, William F. Stout; father, Chon Salas; mother, Virginia Salas; brother, Chilo Salas; and her sisters, Andrea Bartlett, Paz Gutierrez, Eastela Longoria and Virginia Canell.
She is survived by her children, William, David, Steven (Julie) and Philip; grandchildren, Jessica, Christina, Jordan, Morgan, Christopher, Leah and Alina; brother, Joe Salas; and sister Enriquetta Salas.
A funeral Mass to honor Julia's life will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 22, 2011 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1920 Newburg Road, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Wednesday at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
