ARGO, June Mercedes, 83, of Louisville, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Mercy Sacred Heart.
Born in Vanceburg, KY, the former June Cassidy worked at a Day Care and was a member of Deer Park Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Pauline Cassidy; and brothers, Bill and Gene Cassidy.
June is survived by her daughters, Judy and Johanna Argo; brother, Donald Owen Cassidy; sister, Ruby McClurg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
June’s funeral service will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 26, at Union Baptist Church, 8102 KY 344, Vanceburg, KY, with burial to follow in McEldowney Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until time of the service at the church. A visitation will also be held on Thursday, from 4-8 pm at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville KY.
