Obituary for Kathleen Marie Osterman (Daly)
Osterman, Kathleen Marie (Daly),
Age 71, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018. She was born on October 12, 1946 to the late George and Mary Daly. After teaching for 32 years, Kathleen retired from Jefferson County Public Schools. She loved seeing the success of her students in their adult lives. Kathleen often enjoyed reading, shopping, family gatherings, and vacationing in Gulf Shores. Her never ending dedication to her family was always a top priority.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Osterman; daughter, Colleen Proffitt (Richard II); step-daughter, Stacey Thurman (Andy); sister, Peggy Cron (Gene); brothers, Pete Daly (Missey), Jim Daly; three grandchildren, Trey, Kylie, and Ian Thurman; and several nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Mass will be at 10 AM on Friday, June 22 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 5505 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40291. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 - 7 PM on Thursday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville, Rd. Louisville, KY 40205.
