BOONE,
Kenneth “Ken” Joseph, 77, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Episcopal Church Home.
Ken graduated from Notre Dame and the Harvard School of Business. He was a Captain in the Air Force, worked for Anaconda Aluminum and Arco Companies before starting Boone Sales. He was a former member and president of Owl Creek Country Club and a member of Notre Dame Club of KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Josephine Boone; and brother-in-law, Dr. John Kelly, Franklin, KY.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, the former Cheryl Glur; daughters, Jennifer Mitchell (Mark) and Andrea Duncan; brother, Dr. James Cecil Boone (Rosemary); sister, Gail Boone Kelly; and grandchildren, Laura, Sarah, Samuel, Meredith, and Joseph.
His funeral service will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday, June 27 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Thursday at Highlands.
