Kenneth retired from General Electric after 32 years as a cost accountant. He was a member of Church of Epiphany and the SAGES group. Ken was a former member of the Holy Name Choral Club as well as St. Xavier Alumni.
He was preceded in death by his "Angel," his wife of 58 years, Alice Richardson Deddens; son, Richard J. "Dickie" Deddens; and brothers, Paul, Jack, Eugene, William and Fr. Norbert Deddens.
Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Mary Kenna "Kenni" Deddens (Mona McCubbin); sons, Randy Deddens (Bev Bohr) and Robert N. Deddens; grandchildren, Tate Deddens, Kristin Sommer (Greg Tullock) and Chip Sommer (Tara Creehan); and two great-grandchildren.
Ken was a man of quiet strength who was devoted to his family and his "Angel." He was a beloved Dad, Pop and Poppaw. His goodness was evident to all who met him. Ken was known for his resourcefulness and ability to fix most anything, even a broken leg on a pet duck. He has been described as someone who knew a lot about a lot. In his later years he enjoyed watching University of Louisville sports.
