DOLLE, Kenneth Edward, 84, of Louisville, KY, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2014.

Mr. Dolle attended St. Xavier High School, graduated from St. Helena’s Night High School and was a graduate of Bellarmine College. He was a past member of Estate Planning Council and Kiwanis Club. He was the Past Jurisdictional President Woodmen of the World, and the Treasurer of Chapter 14. Mr. Dolle was an employee of Nabisco, a Trust Officer at KY Trust Co., Head of Trust Department at Stock Yards Bank and Trust Co., and was a Naval Reserve veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George M. and Margaret S. Dolle; and brothers, George A. and Charles A. Dolle.

Mr. Dolle is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Doris S. Dolle; children, Col. Dennis B. Dolle (ret. USAF) (Suzanne), of Spokane, WA, Kevin J. Dolle (Michele) of Pentwater, MI, Eileen M. Dolle (Nick Roberts) and Rosann Dolle Tafel (Brucker) of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Benjamin Dolle (Meg), Walter Dolle (Heather), Audrey Dolle Barry (Bill), Claire, Charles and Caroline Tafel, and Evan Burnside; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Carol D. Hoagland; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff of Nazareth Home and Dr. Jane Cornett for their kind and special care.

His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 20 at St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church, 1104 S. 6th St., with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm on Wednesday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
