Nicoulin, Kenneth Harlowe, 49, of Louisville, went to his heavenly Father on July 18, 2010 after a courageous battle with liver cancer. A graduate of Sullivan Culinary Institute, Ken was an accomplished chef, a profession he dearly loved. He had a kind and compassionate heart, as evidenced by those he leaves behind, whose lives he touched in such wonderful ways. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Nicoulin; grandparents, Stuart and Elizabeth Harlowe, John and Mildred Nicoulin and his brother-in-law, Jack Tully. He is survived by his spouse and caretaker, Joseph Patrick Satterfield; mother Peggy Harlowe; sister, Joan Tully and many aunts, uncles, cousins nieces and nephews who will forever treasure his memory. His funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with burial in Calvary cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at Highlands. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
