Obituary for Laura Faye Clements

CLEMENTS, Laura Faye, 50, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012 at her residence. She was the former Laura Elder, an account administrator for Premier Packaging and a member of St. Leonard Catholic Church. Laura was an honorary alumnus ’08 of Trinity High School and Chair of Celebration, Trinity’s benefit dinner 2008-2009. Laura was an avid runner. She loved to exercise and play tennis. Laura was a force of nature “not to be denied” in anything she accomplished. She was a fiercely loving mother, and a great storyteller who loved to laugh. She is survived by her loving husband, John Clements; Father, Larry Elder (Linda); Mother, Diana Elder; sons, Shelby and Logan Clements; daughters, Natalie and Lydia Clements; brother, Chad Elder (Laura); and sisters, Lisa Cobble and Lynn Kaufman (Kevin). Her funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 29, at St. Leonard Catholic Church, 440 Zorn Avenue with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitations will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Trinity High School, Assumption High School or the Carmelite Nuns.
