Obituary for Lena Haydon MURROW

MURROW, Lena Haydon, 84, of Louisville passed away Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Norton Suburban Hospital. She was the former Lena McIntire, a retired city school traffic guard, volunteer at Little sisters of the Poor, and a member of the “Sarafun” at St. Raphael Catholic Church. Lena was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Murrow. She is survived by her son, Daniel Murrow (Wanda); daughter, Ellen McCoskey (Larry); brother, Thomas C. McIntire (Martha); and grandchildren, Amy McCoskey Sloane (Donovan) and John McCoskey. Her funeral Mass will be Noon, Monday, February 15, at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 2141 Lancashire Ave. with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-7 p.m. Sunday, at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor or Mass of the Air.
