DUERR, Lola “Margaret” (Harper), 84, of Louisville, died Friday, November 25, 2011, at Baptist Hospital East.
Born in Avon Park, FL, she was an R.N. at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, D.C. Margaret was also a member of Bellarmine Women’s Council, Queen’s Daughters, Women’s Club of Louisville, Big Spring Country Club and St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ted Duerr and her son John Harper Duerr.
She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Lee Wettig (Keith), Sharon Rhea Erny (“Beanie”), and Mari “Angela” Montgomery (Chris); grandchildren, John, Elizabeth, Theo, Gretchen, Richard and Luke; and 1 great-grandson, Harrison.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 29 at St. Frances of Rome, 2119 Payne Street, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, from 2-7 p.m. at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
