Taylor, Louis Elmer “Lou”, 62, of Simpsonville, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013.

Lou was a retired financial representative with Northwestern Mutual Insurance. He attended Butler University on a full athletic scholarship and graduated in 1973. He taught and coached basketball and baseball at Jeffersonville High School prior to entering the insurance business Lou was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha and Million Dollar Round Table and he was a Kentucky Colonel and a supporter of Quail Unlimited.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bernice (Fox) Taylor and his sister, Jane Ann Wuestefeld.

Lou is survived by his wife, Paula Cramer Taylor, brothers, Stephen Thomas Taylor (Barbara) and L.J. Taylor (Jane) and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2014 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd., with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service Friday at Highlands.
