GADJEN, MADELON RUTH, 78, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Regis Woods Nursing Home.
She was the former Madelon Ruth Hicks, a homemaker and member of Farmdale Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth E. Gadjen; brothers, George R. Hicks and Donnie R. Hicks; and Grandson, Richard A. Gadjen.
She is survived by her sons, Kenneth R. Gadjen (Mary), Nashville, GA and Richard L. Gadjen, New Albany, IN; daughters, Robin K. Gadjen, New Albany and Valerie G. St. Clair (Steve), Louisville; brothers, David L. Benjamin and Dennis L. Benjamin, Louisville; sisters, Linda L. Benjamin, Lexington, KY and Susan K. Davis, Louisville; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon-7 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m.-1p.m. Wednesday at Highlands.
