GLANZ,
89, passed away on July 31, 2014.
Marcella was preceded in death by her parents, Christian and Rosella Glanz; her brother, Christian Glanz, Jr.; and her sisters, Marian Glanz and Alberta Miles.
She is survived by her brother, C.W. Glanz (Elva); nephews, Steven Miles (Nona), Michael Glanz and Gary Glanz (Brenda); nieces, Caroline Shelton (Doug), Diane Burhfeind, Nancy Glanz Miller and Gail Glanz; many great-nieces and great-nephews; her dedicated caregiver, Elicia Hylton; and close friend and near family member, Bryan Page (Missy).
She was retired president and part-owner of Glanz Plumbing-Heating and Cooling for over four decades and was a Girl Scout volunteer. She was a world traveler, an accomplished stone mason and as a younger woman, had her pilot’s license. She was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ.
Her funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4-7p.m. Thursday.
