85, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Nazareth Home. She was the former Marian Taylor and retired from Lorillard Tobacco Company. Marian was a voracious reader and as a 2005 she was proudly walking a 15 minute mile, 3 miles a day in Iroquois Park. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest E. Logsdon, and daughter, Kathleen E. Howard. She is survived by her son, Michael E. Logsdon (Donna); daughters, Marcella A. Levy (Michael)and Jane Chism (James); sister, Virginia Goodman; grandchildren, Denise Aldrich (Merrill), Jeremy Druin (Mindy), Jennifer Miller (Josh), Ryane Hibbs (Adam) and Amanda Pennington (Mickey); and six great-grandchildren. Her memorial Mass will be 11 a.m. Monday, January 25, 2010 at Nazareth Home, 2000 Newburg Rd. with an inurnment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West Cemetery. Memorial visitation will 9:30 a.m.- 10:45 a.m., Monday at Nazareth Home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Salvation Army or the Louisville Free Public Library.
