Cooke, Mary “Juanita” Compton, 83, of Louisville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 1, 2010.
She was a loving mother and wife, and was a member of Fourth Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Houston Cooke and her sister, Doris Compton Moore.
Juanita is survived by her loving children, Vicki Cooke of Louisville and Steve Cooke (Susan) of Newburgh, IN.; sister-in-law, Frances Baker and 4 nephews.
Her service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with burial in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8, Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
