DOWNS, MARY ANN, 86, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at her residence.
Born in New Haven, KY, she was a homemaker and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Downs; sons, Thomas and Stevie Downs.
She is survived by her sons, George, Denny (Jeanne), Patrick, and Michael Downs (Anita); daughters, Mary Rita Ward, Angela Thomson (John), Christine Smedley and Teresa Downs; sisters, Kathleen Kenland, Pauline Hambrick and Patricia Cross; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2010 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Thursday at Highlands.
