DRAUGHN, MARY ELIZABETH, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Masonic Home of Louisville.
Born in Sackett, KY, she was a retired supervisor for Unemployment Insurance for the state of Kentucky. Mary was a member of the Historical Homes Society, Filson Club, American Contract Bridge League and a member of Highland Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph F. and Melissa Draughn; sisters, Dorothy F. Draughn, Mrs. F. V. Adams, Mrs. Edna I. M. Amburgey, Mrs. Delma, John Hamilton, Mrs. Gladys Gus Collins, Hazel D. Fields, and Mrs. Gertrude Jasper Cornett; and brothers, Burnett and Herman Draughn.
She is survived by her brother, Hagan Draughn; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 10, 2010 at Highland Baptist Church, 1101 Cherokee Road, with burial to follow in Lewis Cemetery, Whitesburg, KY. Visitation will be from 2 - 5 p.m. Friday, at Highlands.
