Preceding her in death were her husband, Gabriel Cooper Spalding, Sr.; parents, Edward and Rose Canova Karrer; and brothers, EJ Karrer, Bob Karrer, Ed Karrer, and Herman Karrer.
Survivors include her daughter Becky Spalding; son Gabe Spalding (Brenda Wernick); sisters, Emma Catherine "Kate" Karrer and Antoinette "Toni" Wiesemann; grandsons, Cooper Spalding and Dalton Spalding; along with a large extended family. The family would like to thank Linda & Mark Mulloy, Robbie Sims, Sandy Cummings, Sharon Twyman, Sheila Linton, Judy Seidt, and Carolyn Pape for helping Mother remain independent until the end.
Her funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Saturday July 23, St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1920 Newburg Rd., with private burial at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3-8 pm Friday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
