WILLIAMS, MERILEE, 74, of Louisville, passed away Monday, March 23, 2011 at Baptist Hospital East after a long battle with cancer.
Born in Greenville, OH, she was a retired nurse and a member of St. Edward Catholic Church. She was active in WOTM chapter 573, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, JCPD Alumni Association, Fraternal Order of Police associate member, Louisville and Jefferson County Damage Assessment Team Emergency Management Agency.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Williams.
She is survived by her loving companion, Gene Miller; three sons, Gary (Pamela), David (Sherri), Bobby Hart; two sisters, Kay Hodges and Linda Moss (Danny), nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. on Monday, March 28 at St. Edward Catholic Church with burial in St. Edwards Cemetery. Visitation will be 28 p.m. on Sunday at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
